Travel brochures offering package tours have set
itineraries, hotels and daytours. Most touring will be big bus groups.
Here’s how booking with us works:

Budget:
We discuss your budget and travel
style.

Touring: For daytrips and longer excursions, I
use mostly small group tours lead by professional guides.

Transportation: I consider your preferences
(drive, fly, trains, etc), and work out the complicated logistics.

Weather: I consider the seasons, so you don’t
go to Ayer’s Rock in January unless you like the heat; or go to New
Zealand in July unless you want to ski.

Meals: I include few meals except when you are
on a daytrip or at a resort. You dine when and where you want. I
give you suggestions and a list of my clients’ favorite places.

Travel Guidance:
I provide a reading list, tips on packing and money, and advice about
travel insurance.
