The world's largest monolith, Uluru or Ayer's Rock, is at least 500 million years old and is growing larger, as the sands around it erode. An Aboriginal sacred site, I encourage my clients to respect their culture and not climb it. Instead, enjoy a guided walk at the base to see rock art and waterholes.
